How to reach Sardinia

22 October 2018 by clicksardegna

Alghero, located in the North west coast of Sardinia, is the best option for holidays not far away from home and for short break from everyday life.

But how to reach Sardinia? How to reach Alghero?

Reach Alghero is quite easy and you can reach Alghero with plane or ferry.

Best way to get to Sardinia from Italy is by ferry. If you book in advance tickets are cheeper than last minutes booking.

Look at directferries.com/ferries_from_italy_to_sard…

The thing is, you can do overnight ferries in each direction, so you save time by traveling while you sleep. Even with the supplement for a cabin each way it could work out almost as cheap as flying and perhaps more convenient. And don’t forget that in this way you can bring your own car with you, and this will save money in car rental during your stay.

If you decide to travel by Plane, once in Alghero you can easily choose between busses, rental cars, taxi or train.
